Kaş, an underwater paradise for divers
Kaş, an underwater paradise for divers
Turkey’s southern province of Antalya’s Kaş district mesmerizes diving enthusiasts with its crystal-clear waters and abundant flora.
Kaş is one of the attraction spots when it comes to diving tourism in Turkey. Besides its incredibly rich fauna, sunken planes take divers on an adventurous experience.
There are currently over 30 diving spots in Kaş and divers can dip in up to 25 spots among these, according to a diving instructor.
Speaking to state-run Anadolu Agency, dive guide Murat Draman said that Kaş is included in a sea protected area.
Draman said that divers both dive in these spots and help scientists by inspecting the nature under the sea.
The veteran diver emphasized the importance of protecting the aquatic ecosystem while having a diving experience.
