The storm took only 20 minutes in the evening of Sept. 13 but the damage was massive, according to Demirören News Agency.
Hailstones broke not only the windshields of cars, but also penetrated into their chassis, as well as the roofs and windows of buildings.
The Kastamonu Governor’s Office announced that the initial count for the damage could increase as locals were still reporting to authorities.
Officials will inspect the impact of the hailstorm on Sept. 14.
