Dilan Çiçek Deniz said on her Instagram account on Sept. 3 that she was among “the very few candidates” who passed the initial audition and was invited to New York to meet the brand’s casting director last week, but her agency was recently notified that she was not selected as an “angel” in the end.
“They told my agency that they liked my positive energy but they can only consider me next year because I had no history of being an active model abroad,” she said.
“Even participating in this audition process opened me new doors and brought new opportunities. I am returning home happy,” she added.
A graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Deniz is also known as an actress for her main role in the Turkish TV series Çukur (The Pit).
