Following the heavy snowfall in western Kütahya province, Domaniç Mountains, with a 1,500-meter-altitude, turned into a postcard scenery, attracting nature lovers and photographers.
One of the campers in Domaniç Mountains told state-run Anadolu Agency that the region was very suitable for camping.
The campers have been coming to Domaniç every winter, but they decided to do “something different” and built igloos, he said.
“The weather is cold just like we want. This place is a wonder of nature,” he added.
Another camper said the four friends completed the igloo in three hours. He added that the temperature is about 0 degrees Celsius within the Eskimo shelter.
“We had a warm sleep by preserving our body temperature in our sleeping bags,” he said.
