One Turkish soldier killed in PKK rocket attack in Hakkari: Military

ANKARA

A Turkish soldier was killed in a rocket attack by the Kurdistan Workers' PArty (PKK) in Turkey’s eastern Hakkari province, the military said on Feb. 9.

In a statement, the Turkish General Staff said that the soldier was killed in an attack targeting the Zer Tepe military base in the Çukurca district.
