One policeman killed in clashes with the PKK in Turkey’s southeast

One special operations police officer was killed in clashes with the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in the Yüksekova district of the southeastern province of Hakkari amid ongoing security operations on March 31. The officer İdris Balat was killed during ongoing clashes in Yüksekova’s Orman neighborhood.
