Numbers show record-breaking unemployment in Turkey

Unemployment in Turkey is at its lowest since 2005, according to recent numbers from TurkStat, the national statistical agency.The jobless rate was measured at 8.2 percent in May; the only other time the rate approached such a low figure was in September 2011, when unemployment dipped to 8.8 percent.
The rate for jobs outside of the agricultural sector was 10.4 percent, marking the first time numbers for the area had fallen below 11 percent.
