Multiple vehicle collision paralyzes traffic in Istanbul
ISTANBUL
A traffic jam paralyzed Istanbul as a 13-vehicle collision on the TEM highway took place toward the evening of April 12. Four people were wounded as a result of the crash, including one person who sustained heavy injuries.
The highway was blocked after the accident occurred on the highway to Edirne, causing vehicles to be directed to a side road. Ambulances and firefighters were sent to the scene.
Meanwhile, curious passersby watching the rescue efforts prompted a slowdown in traffic in the opposite direction.
