'Modern Warfare 3' makes $775 mln in 5 days

The latest installation of the popular “Call of Duty” video game franchise broke a record in sales on the fifth day of its release.
Distributor Activision announced that “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3” made $775 million in the five days following its release. It also went down in history as the game with the highest number of copies sold.
Previously released “Call of Duty: Black Ops” had made $650 million in its first five days while “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2” had made $550 million.
The scenario in “Modern Warfare 3” picks up the story where the previous installation left off, putting the player in the boots of a soldier fighting off Russian forces who invaded Europe and the United States
