Mizuho Bank to open office in Istanbul

Japan’s Mizuho Corporate Bank is planning on opening a representative office in Istanbul.“Since we recognize Turkey as a strategically important country, we are focused on providing support to Japanese firms here, expanding our activities with financial institutions and holdings, as well as fostering business ties with non-Japanese companies here,” said Mizuho Corporate Bank Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Yasuhiro Sato at the signing ceremony between the bank and the Ministry’s Investment Agency.
