Many hunters hunted in the Feast of Sacrifice in Turkey

Some 470 people who were injured while slaying animals for the Muslim holy Feast of Sacrifice have been treated by emergency services in hospitals across Istanbul.

The wounded persons mainly received treatment for cuts and broken bones before being discharged from hospital.

On the Asian side of Istanbul, 60 people injured during the ritual sacrificing of animals were taken to Marmara University’s Pendik Training and Research Hospital, 58 went to the Göztepe Training and Research Hospital, 50 headed to the Sultanbeyli State Hospital, 45 sought treatment at the Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital, 25 applied to the Kartal Yavuz Selim State Hospital, 24 headed to the Tuzla State Hospital, while 17 applied to the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Training and Research Hospital.

On the European side of Istanbul, some 58 of those injured applied to the Bağcılar Training and Research Hospital, 21 went to the Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital, 20 headed to the Bakırköy Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital, 12 sought treatment at the Şişli Training and Research Hospital while 11 went to the Istanbul University’s Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty Hospital.
