Long passport control point queues at Istanbul Ataturk Airport due to technical fault
ISTANBUL
Long queues occurred across passport control points at Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport due to a technical fault on March 21.
Because of the fault in the Istanbul provincial security directorate’s Polnet data system, passport checks are being done manually, Doğan News Agency reported.
Police officers have increased their efforts to help passengers catch their flights.
PolNet is the computer network and information system of Turkey’s national police force.
