Israel celebrates Turkey’s Republic Day, stresses improvement of economic ties

Israel extended congratulations to the people and the government of Turkey for the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey and expressed willingness to improve bilateral ties, particularly in the economic field. 

“Placing a high value on many connections to Turkey, Israel is looking forward to the improvement of bilateral relations, especially through economic ties, as remarked by Energy Minister Yuval Steinitz who attended the National Day Reception held at the embassy residence in Israel on Oct. 27,” read a written statement by Israeli Embassy in Ankara.     
 
“As Turkey celebrates this special day, Israel presents its best wishes for more years to come marked with peace, stability, and prosperity,” read the statement.
