A 71-year-old man from Northern Ireland was found dead in his hotel room on July 4 in the popular Turkish resort town of Marmaris.

Dennis Edward Alloway, who was staying at a hotel in İçmeler district, was found in his bed by his friends, who informed the hotel employees. The employees called emergency services, but the paramedics who arrived at the scene said Alloway had died.

Following a brief investigation by the prosecutor and the police at the hotel, the Irisman’s body was sent to Muğla Forensics Institution for an autopsy.

Alloway’s friends said the unlucky tourist had a chronic heart condition.
