Interior Ministry cancels all police leaves

The Interior Ministry announced the cancellation of annual and casual leaves of all police staff under the General Directorate of Security, until further notice.The arrangement was conveyed to the governorships of 81 provinces and the General Directorate of Security Headquarters and Provincial Organizations, through a statement signed by the undersecretary of the Interior Ministry, Mükerrem Ünlüer.
“The annual and casual leaves of staff in charge at the General Directorate of Security Headquarter, Provincial Directorates of Security, Police Vocational Colleges and Police Training Centers are cancelled, until further notice, beginning from July 27, 2015,” the release said.
The Interior Ministry also said security staff newly appointed to the “second region” should report to duty at their new posts by August 5, at the latest.
