Havaş provides service at Madinah Airport in Saudi Arabia

Havaş has become the first Turkish company to receive a ground handling services license at Madinah Airport in Saudi Arabia.

Havaş provides ground handling services at 23 airports in Turkey and 7 airports in Europe. The main activities of Havaş include passenger and luggage transactions, ramp and aircraft cleaning, load control and communication, cargo, flight operations, transportation, representation and supervision services.

Havaş Saudi Arabia was established under the partnership of Havaş, TAV and al-Rajhi to operate ground handling services at Madinah Airport, which is operated by TAV Airports.  “As Havaş, we are proud to start providing services at Madinah, one of the two holy cities of Saudi Arabia. The Madinah Airport hosted 40,000 flights in 2013 while providing services to approximately 5 million passengers. Having started to provide services at Madinah Airport, we aim to improve the network of Havaş Saudi Arabia nationwide and to other countries in the region,” Havaş General Manager Nurzat Erkal said.
