Fener introduces supporters' cards:
The Fenerbahce Club has once again produced ID cards for its supporters. It was a very colorful evening at Fenerbahce's Faruk Ilgaz facility, and those involved were club president Aziz Yildirim, board members, yellow-blue team members and well-known names from the business and art worlds who are team supporters. There are three supporter cards: “Platinum,” “Gold” and “Classic.” They are being offered to supporters for 350, 100 and 35 YTL respectively. Supporters who buy the cards will receive discount on Fenerium magazine subscription prices and various other perks.
Diyarbakirspor penalized:
The Soccer Federation's Professional Disciplinary Committee has penalized Diyarbakirspor and also ordered the southeastern side to play one home match without spectators. The penalty was levied because of the behavior of Diyarbakirspor fans during a match on Oct. 30 with Vestel Manisaspor. Galatasaray was fined YTL 30,000 for fan misbehavior during its Turkish Cup match against Mersin Idmanyurdu. Trabzonspor was also fined YTL 15,000 for the misbehavior of its fans during a Trabzonspor-Kayserispor match.

Karsiyaka re-signs Elena:
Turkish Division One Women's League team DYO Karsiyaka has re-signed Elena Dortkardesler. According to club spokesman Nazim Torbaoglu the club signed a one-year agreement with her. Torbaoglu said her form is still not up to par but in the weeks ahead Elena will improve and make a contribution to the team.
Iller trounces Gazi University:
Iller Bank beat Gazi University 3-1 in their women's league match. The game lasted 133 minutes and the final scores were as follows: 26-24, 23-25, 20-25 and 20-25.

Winter Sports Executive Committee meets:
According to the Winter Sports Executive Committee, following a meeting in Ankara, five Turks will compete in the Feb. 10-26 Torino Italy Winter Olympics. The meeting's topics included fabric to be used for clothing and even how travel plans would be dealt with. Youth and Sports chief Mehmet Atalay commented that there were good reasons for holding the Winter Olympics in Turkey because of the mountains on four sides of the country. He stressed that Turkey was going to organize winter sports facilities in the shortest time possible. “We want to evaluate the snow potential here in our country in which the sun and sea seem to have the greatest attraction,” he said.

Mugla holds traditional bridge festival:
Sixty bridge players took part in the Traditional Bridge Festival held in Mugla's Datca district. At the festival were Turkish Bridge Federation Chairman Ata Aydin, national team player Ozan Yalcin and Bridge Federation board member Levent Ozgul. The players at the festival, held at Petya Holiday Village in Datca, included a number of local expert bridge players. At the end of the festival, Datca Mayor Erol Karakullukce and Datca district officer Huseyin Kaya congratulated the players and pledged to support the bridge festival in the future.
