Group buys stake in Fabeks

ISTANBUL
Dubai-based Eastgate Capital Group applied to the Ankara-based anti-trust board to buy a 49.8 percent stake in Turkish textile maker Fabeks Dış Ticaret from owners Ayşen Zamanpur and Bijen Zamanpur.

The Zamanpur family will continue to hold the majority 50.2 percent stake after the sale. Fabeks currently owns 30 shops in Turkey, France, Algeria and Switzerland under the brand Silk & Cashmere.
