Gotye management denies suicide rumors

Musician Gotye's official management has denied rumors that surfaced on the Internet today following a CNN iReport article that claimed the singer had shot himself to death.The Twitter account run by Gotye's management, GotyeHQ, attempted to calm down the storm of confusion and grief by tweeting, "We're happy to report Wally is alive and well."
“Wally” is a nickname used by the singer himself.
Gotye has shot to superstardom after his now break-up anthem 'Somebody that I Used to Know" came to dominate charts for months. The song became one of the bestselling digital singles of all time.
