Galatasaray is set to complete a busy week for transfers with the signings of forward Burak Yılmaz and winger Nordin Amrabat.
The Turkish media reported yesterday that
Galatasaray made a last-minute move to sign Trabzonspor’s Yılmaz, who was close to finalize a transfer to
Russia Lokomotiv Moscow. Yılmaz, who was the top scorer of the Spor Toto Super League last season with 33 goals, has publicly announced his desire to leave
Trabzonspor after three seasons.
Galatasaray also announced that it is in talks with Kayserispor to finalize the transfer of Moroccan winger Amrabat. The deal will cost around eight million euros to Galatasaray. The champion will also send midfielder Ceyhun Gülselam to Kayseri.
Earlier this week,
Galatasaray has signed Toulouse forward Umut Bulut on a loan deal, and agreed with Real Madrid midfielder Hamit Altıntop.
