Four wounded in explosion in Istanbul’s Maltepe

A package that was being delivered to an electronics and engineering company exploded in the Maltepe district of Istanbul on Nov. 14, injuring four people, Doğan News Agency has reported.

The explosion occurred after an employee opened the package.

Four people were wounded due to the explosion in Zümrütevler neighborhood, with one reported to be in serious condition.

The four were taken to hospital, while police have launched an investigation following the blast.
