Four Turkish teams will represent Turkey in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague next season, after Beko Basketball League champion Pınar Karşıyaka was granted a spot in the competition on June 29.

Pınar Karşıyaka will join Anadolu Efes, Fenerbahçe Ülker – which both have A licenses- and Doğuş Darüşşafaka, which was given a wildcard for the 2015-2016 season.

Turkey will be represented by four teams for the first time in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague and will be one of the two countries with four teams in the competition.

The other will be Spain, which will send defending Euroleague champion Real Madrid, as well as Barcelona, Laboral Vitoria and Unicaja Malaga.

In addition to Doğuş Darüşşafaka, Bayern Munich of Germany, Russian club Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar and France’s Strasbourg will be in the Euroleague next season thanks to wildcards.
