Footballer Bekir İrtegün released in Gülen probe
ISTANBUL
Footballer Bekir İrtegün, who was detained in Istanbul on July 28 as part of a probe into the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETO), was released on July 29.İrtegün was released after being questioned by the prosecutors but banned from traveling abroad.
He recently played for popular clubs including Gaziantepspor, Fenerbahçe and Başakşehir.
He was released from his former club Medipol Başakşehir on July 10, despite having another year in his contract.
