ISTANBUL - Hürriyet
Fire broke out at four different points in Istanbul’s Beykoz district today, a day after a series of fires occurred in the same area.
The fire started around 12:45 p.m. at four different points in the Çavuşbaşı area, near the Beykoz district, and one hectare of woodland was damaged.
A large number of fire brigades and two helicopters also intervened in the area immediately and the fire was extinguished in 30 minutes with a small amount of damage.
The daily Hürriyet reported that officials were investigating the possibility that the fire was started intentionally due to the fact that it broke out at the same time at different points from July 12 to 14.
