FEMEN does a number on Turkey's Twitter ban

ISTANBUL
FEMEN does a number on Turkeys Twitter ban Activist group Femen has reacted to Turkey's decision to block access to Twitter, as one of its members bared her breasts to show Turkish Internet users a way to circumvent the ban.

In the photo shared online by Femen's branch in Spain last night, two numbers belonged to Google DNS, as well as the hashtag #DirenTwitter (Resist Twitter), are seen on the activist's chest.

Only hours after the photo went viral on Turkish social media, Ankara blocked access to Google DNS, too.

FEMEN is a Ukrainian protest group founded in 2008. The organization became internationally known for organizing topless protests against sex tourists, international marriage agencies, sexism and other social, national and international ills.
