Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan
and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had an unannounced talk Nov. 8 during the Democracy Forum in Bali, daily Hürriyet reported.
Erdoğan and Ahmadinejad walked to the dinner event together, starting up a conversation that lasted during dinner as well.
The Syrian crisis reportedly dominated the discussion.
Two leaders had not been scheduled to meet during the forum.
