Ivorian superstar Didier Drogba is set to leave Galatasaray at the end of the season, according to Turkish media reports.

Drogba has recently been linked with two Major League Soccer clubs, the Seattle Sounders and the New York Red Bulls, while Turkish media said Galatasaray was considering whether to not extend his contract, which is due to expire at the end of the season.

Some reports also claimed that coach Roberto Mancini was upset with Drogba’s anger after being substituted during a Feb. 17 Spor Toto Super League game with Antalyaspor and his refusal to shake hands with assistant coach Tugay Kerimoğlu.

After being signed on a free transfer from Shanghai Shenhua in January 2013, Drogba has quickly garnered fan favorite status at Galatasaray, scoring 18 goals in 46 matches. He was instrumental in leading Galatasaray to the league title last year and qualifying for the Champions League second round this season.
