Doğan Canku to give live performance at club Alt Turkish flamenco guitarist Doğan Canku will be taking the stage at club Alt tonight. The concert starts at 10:30 p.m. and tickets are available at www.biletix.com and the club’s main booth. Canku started his music career by receiving training and education on cello and piano at Ankara State Conservatory in 1958. He shifted to classical guitar in 1974 before soon being dubbed one of the most gifted flamenco guitar players in Turkey. In addition to several singles and five LPs, Canku contributed to the iconic Turkish pop band MFÖ. The artist’s club performance will last around 90 minutes.
