Disney Channel Turkey organized on Jan. 7 a private party to celebrate the beginning of free satellite broadcast of the channel in Turkey.

Disney Channel Turkey organized on Jan. 7 a private party to celebrate the beginning of free satellite broadcast of the channel in Turkey. The young star of Disney Channel Debby Ryan along with Mickey and Minnie Mouse welcomed the celebrities and guests of the party on the red carpet.

The production team of Disney Channel’s first domestic sitcom “Zil Çalınca” (When the bell rings) also attended the party, which was held at Istanbul’s Nişantaşı City’s shopping mall and hosted over 400 people from the worlds of business, art and publishing.

3D Movie Beauty and the Beast

The 3D film “Beauty and the Beast” and the new sitcom of the channel “Jessie” were screened at the party. Ten Turkish artists of the team of “Zil Çalınca” also appeared on the red carpet. The young artists enjoyed the party with other guests. Ryan, the star of Disney’s Channel famous series “The Suite Life on Deck” and “Jessie,” said that she had visited Istanbul for the first time and had a great time. “The series ‘Jessie’ got very positive reactions. It is very exciting that millions of Turkish people will view my series when Disney Channel will start satellite broadcasting in the country,” Ryan said.

The Walt Disney Company Turkey, Greece and Cyprus Regional Director Sinan Ceylan said Disney Channel was the flagship of The Walt Disney Company, adding, “Our guests are very excited that that channel will start satellite broadcasting. We are looking forward to seeing this excitement all around the country this year.” Disney Channel Turkey offers various programs for children between the ages of two and 14 and families. Turks will be able to view the channel’s originals films and programs such as the high school series “Wizards of Waverly Place,” the “Suite Life of Zack & Cody” and “Lemonade Mouth” when they have a satellite decoder.
