Festival on Wheels to visit three cities

The 8th International Filmmor Women's Film Festival on Wheels will take place in Istanbul, Kars and Sinop between March 12 and April 18.
Fifty-three films from 20 countries will join an international women's film festival in Turkey.
The 8th International Filmmor Women's Film Festival on Wheels will take place in Istanbul, the eastern city of Kars and the Black Sea city of Sinop between March 12 and April 18.
The festival will run in Istanbul from March 12 to 21, in Kars from April 10 to 11 and in Sinop from April 17 to 18.
Women’s films from Turkey will also be screened at the Creteil International Women's Film Festival (Le Festival International de Films de Femmes) between March 31 and April 6.
The objectives of the Filmmor Women's Film Festival on Wheels are to increase the visibility, experiences, success and productivity of women, as well as reduce their problems. The festival also aims to increase the potential for women to express themselves and their productivity in this area, as well as expand the exchange of ideas and experiences nationally, internationally, in cinema and in all other dimensions of life. It also hopes to contribute to the elimination of gender discriminations.
The festival includes special sections with themes on "violence towards women" and "honor" as well as cumulative presentations, conversation panels and workshops.
