Images by well-known documentary photographers, showing the destructive effects of climate change around the world, have been brought to Beyoğlu.
Images by nine internationally recognized documentary photographers, showing the destructive effects of climate change around the world, have been brought to Beyoğlu in an exhibition curated by the Amsterdam-based NOOR Photo Agency.
The 100 photos in “Climate Change: Consequences” are on display through June 20 at an outdoor exhibit in Galatasaray Square as part of Intercultural Art Dialogue Days, with the support of the Beyoğlu Municipality.
Consequences of climate change are represented in the images as daily realities experienced by millions of people in various parts of the world. The photographs in the exhibit reflect these realities by depicting hunger, sickness, conflict, forced migration, day-to-day difficulties and human rights abuses.
