ISTANBUL
The main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu will hold his last rally in Istanbul’s Kadıköy district March 29, a day before the local elections.

Kılıçdaroğlu will hold a rally in the Bilecik province on March 29 at 11:00 am, local time. He will then proceed to Kadıköy Square at 3:00 pm.

Kılıçdaroğlu started his rallies from the western province of Çanakkale on Feb. 28 and will have held 56 rallies total, including the last one scheduled to take place in Kadıköy on March 29. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has held rallies in 59 provinces and he started his campaign in Sivas on Feb. 22.

Erdoğan did not attend his rally in Konya due to problems with his voice. The Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) leader Devlet Bahçeli has visited more than 50 provinces during his election campaign program. Apart from holding rallies in the cities, Bahçeli also visited districts and met with locals and shopkeepers there.

The Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) leader Selahattin Demirtaş completed his campaign rallies on March 28 in the southeastern province of Şanlıurfa. Demirtaş started his rallies on March 4 in Diyarbakır and has held 22 rallies since then.
