Chief execs sign ethics declaration

Members of the Ethics and Reputation Society signed an ethics declaration at the Feb. 28 evening Ethics Summit, the society said.Principles of business ethics should be considered necessary not only to regulate corporations but also for a properly working market economy and a modern, fair and democratic society, said Metin Çakmakçı, the head of the society.
Chief executives of 48 prominent Turkish corporations signed the declaration, including Akbank, Anadolu Group, Borusan Holding, DemirDöküm, Tofaş, Turkcell and Sabancı Holding. k HDN
