Cat Power on Istanbul stage

ISTANBUL

Indie rock musician Chan Marshall, better known as her stage name “Cat Power,” will perform in Istanbul on Nov. 22 and 23. She will take the stage at Babylon as part of the Garanti Jazz Green concert series. 

Cat Power won the hearts of many in 1998 with the release of her fourth album, the critically acclaimed “Moon Pix,” and she has built a huge fan base on the back of her latest album “Sun.” In addition to creating her fascinating music, which is considered a mix of indie rock, folk rock and blues rock, she has contributed to various aid organizations, created soundtracks for movies and advertisements and played a small role in the fashion industry after being discovered by German fashion designer Karl Lagerfield.
