A suicide car bomb attack near a military post in the central Syria province of Hama killed at least 50 soldiers and pro-regime fighters on Monday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.
 
"At least 50 government troops and loyalist militiamen were killed this morning in a car bomb explosion near a military post in the village of Ziyara" in Hama province, Observatory director Rami Abdel Rahman told AFP by phone.

Bomb attack in Damascus leaves wounded: Syria TV

An explosion in the Mazzeh district of the Syrian capital Damascus left a number of people wounded on Monday, Syrian state television reported.

"Terrorists carried out an explosion in the Jabal area of Mazzeh district, which was crowded with people," state television said, reporting a number of people wounded.

Air strike kills at least 20 rebels in northwest Syria: NGO

At least 20 rebel fighters were killed in an air strike in northwestern Syria today, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.
 
"At least 20 rebels were killed when a warplane bombarded the town of Harem" in Idlib province, according to the Britain-based watchdog.
