Vodafone Istanbul Calling is set to take over the Istanbul summer calendar with three months of activities. Sponsored by Vodafone and Garanti Bank, the festival will host numerous foreign and local stars in different venues throughout the city. The concerts will showcase new artists as part of the event, “Discovery @ Babylon.” Brigitte, a mystical creature created by Sylvie Hoareau and Aurelie Saada, will take the stage tonight at 10:30 p.m. with an eclectic brand of music that carries traces of vintage charm, hip hop, ABBA, Nick Drake, The Zombies, Johnny Cash and Klaus Noemie.
