Bilgi University hosts global youth project

One World Youth Project (OWYP), an international non-profit organization active in education, 
partnered last month with Istanbul Bilgi University in order to “provide Istanbul youth with global 
life skills needed for success in the 21st century,” according to a press release.

Through the OWYP program, which starts this month, university student participants will gain the tools to teach global citizenship and local leadership in secondary school classrooms.

The trained university student facilitators will connect their students with OWYP students in another country over the course of 15 weeks, providing opportunities for constant collaborative investigation of global interconnectedness and local action within the scope of the program. k HDN
