The Armenian Secret Army for the Liberation of Armenia (ASALA), an Armenian terrorist organization, has threatened to attack Turkey in the event of a “direct or indirect violation of the security” of the Armenian community in Syria, according to panarmenian.net.
ASALA released a statement saying they would launch "counter-measures" against Turkey if Ankara continued with its “conspirational and hostile policy" on Syria.
Active from 1975 to 1986, ASALA claimed responsibility for about 200 attacks on Turkish diplomatic and non-diplomatic institutions and murdered 58 Turkish and non-Turkish people, 34 of whom were Turkish diplomats. ASALA was listed as a terrorist organization by the United States until the 1980s, but was taken off the list when the group disbanded.
ASALA has been inactive since 1985.

We can safely say that Turkey's foreign policy, aimed at leading the Sunni Islamist world, has been a catastrophe for Turkey. Sacrificing old alliances in order to support Muslim Brotherhood regimes in the Arab world has unleashed forces that may lead to the break-up of Turkey. Voting an AKP majority was certainly a wise choice by Turkish voters. Yes, I'm being sarcastic.

Turkey (better said the leaders of Turkey) enterd a dangerous play, only to please to Israel and USA. Now the Turks will support the consequences, of attacking a country that in course of history didn't never disturb Turkey

pkk and asala had always good relations with each other. they used to conduct attacks against Turkey jointly. ever since asala was inactive, pkk carried on its mission. there are still armenian and other foreign citizens among the pkk terrorists. so were not only fighting the kurdish terrorists. pkk has always been upheld by the foreign powers. however ,neither pkk nor asala will reach their goals. Turkey wont ever be divided!

And how many refugees has Armenia taken in from Syria or helped the people overthere??They should think before they speak. And how many Muslims did Armenia kill during it's life time in Turkey, Azerbedjan etc.???They should focus on their own instead of Turkey and look at all the crimes they have done to other nations, religions etc..Mark Tak, the borders of Turkey were sighned at Lausanne in 1923, they are there, they stay there and in thousands of years still be there. Turkey is Turkey FOREVER

I do not understand what ASALA has to do with this conflict. All kinds of terror should always be condemned, regardless of ethnicity or religion.
