Artists foster solidarity with ‘Future is Woman’ at Ekavart

Artists foster solidarity with ‘Future is Woman’ at Ekavart

A work by Nihal Tanpolat is seen in the exhibition, which is organized with the contribution of many artists.

Istanbul’s Education, Culture and Research Foundation (EKAV) is presenting the exhibition “Future Is Woman” with a selection of important contemporary artists.

The exhibition presents works by artists, including Balkan Naci İslimyeli, Bedri Baykam, Bubi, Genco Gülan, Gökhan Balkan, Kezban Arca Batıbeki, Nihal Tanpolat and Server Demirtaş.

This exhibition has been prepared with the goal of fostering the solidarity of female and male artists, according to the participating artists.

“If we want a world which is slower, more humane, more tolerant and open to nature for the future, life, love, and peace of mind that everything we put in front, we should see the obvious now; the ‘future is woman,” they said in a note about the exhibit. “They will protect the world as they protect their youngsters, flowers, all living creatures and men. “Future is Woman” will continue until April 5.
