An Armenian play that is set to take the stage in New York in September has caused a strong backlash from the Turkish community in the United States, daily Milliyet reported.
The play, titled “Red Dog Howls,” tells the story of an Armenian man discovering the events of 1915 through the letters of his relatives that were killed during the incidents.
The play depicts the deaths of the character's family, as well as many other Armenian families, at the hands of Ottoman forces.
The Turkish community in the U.S. has reacted strongly to the play, with Ali Çınar, head of the Turkish American Association, stating that they expected the 100th anniversary of 1915 to bring similar acts from the Armenian lobby in the U.S.
"The goal of this play is not to make art," Çınar said. "The goal here is simply to repeat the 1915 claims. It aims to propagate and to make alleged stories from letters and memoirs look like the real events."

@E>Johansseon, Armenia never ruled Karabagh but there were Armenians there. Her naked agression created 600.000 Azeri refugees. Now she e wants to create an independent country, out of that illgoten Land, only to have rhat "Independent" country, vote to join Armenia and of course they will "greaciosly accept and welcome it, thus attempt to hide their incidious Crime!

R. Zak - ypu are doing a grand job "Grand Standing " on this issue without even touching to the root of Armenian Tragedy, called "Days of Sorrow" by the Armenians" prior to use of term"Genocide" to describe the Houlocoust uhleashed on Jewish People, following the "Crystal Nacht" of 1937. Armenian issue is a bilateral issue, with "Cause & Effect" wherein both sides are Responsible. Turkey has an open invition but Armenina refuses to sit down, instead rides on thr "Holocoust" of Jewish suffering!

Armenians were using this sort of language about Turks from about 1850 onwards....their plans for 'Armenia' would have meant pushing out more than half the Muslims in the provinces which they had their eyes on. Fanciful? Look at the the figures for the Ottoman Balkans where millions of people were forced out between 1876 and 1924. In 1912 there was a small Muslim majority in the Ottoman Balkans. Not so in the same lands two years later.

Yes , Turks should deal with the Armenian Genocide, It is Turkey's best interest to accept that horrified unhuman massacres which was done by Turks in 1915. What the Turks are waiting for ? Isn't it enough of lies ? whom are you fooling for ? Stop being arrogant. Accept it now, tomorrow will be too late. Best regards !!

People can love Turks or people can hate Turks, it's their business. If Armenians hate Turks so be it, as long as Turkey's own citizens of Armenian ethnic background is content, Turks really don't care much about what Armenians in Armenia or their diaspora thinks. Armenian's same old messages such as left here like broken record does not do any impact anymore; Turks and the rest of the world have moved on and dealing with more important and pressing issues in their lives at the moment.

There was no denial of Dersim. Facts and figures are there. Maybe it was not highlighted and talked about, but it was hardly denied. In fact, the real stroy and facts can never be erased. Unlike the Armenian genocide myth, where the facts and figures are mostly manufactured. You see the difference?

"Hell will break loose in 2015. Turkey needs to act fast and apologize – not for the killings but for denying the killings. Apology is a sign of maturity and it is time for Turkey to grow up." (Hurriyet, January/28/2012)

Most of Turks are using the same words " hate propaganda..." Why do you think Armenians should love Turks ? because you commited Genocide ? because you massacred entire Anatolian Armenians ? Just give me one reason why Armenians should respect the Turks when Turkey is denying historical facts ? Stop rewriting the history !!
