Antalya State Opera to stage ‘Sleeping Beauty’
ANTALYA
The Antalya State Opera and Ballet will premiere the famous ballet “Sleeping Beauty,” based on the story by the Grimm Brothers, on April 22 at the Antalya Haşim İşcan Culture Center. In the ballet, the sleeping beauty, Princess Aurora, is played by Müge Ünal and her biggest enemy, the evil fairy Carabosse who puts her into a hundred year sleep, is played by Derya Tokgöz. Other dancers in the ballet are Tolga Burçak as Prince Desire, Esra Taner as the Lilac Fairy, Evren İskender, Umut Çaltekin, Yağızhan Danış and Burak Özbek as four princes, Özde Eren and Cankat Özer as Bluebird.
The two-act ballet will also be staged on April 25 and 29 in the same venue.
