Prague Philharmonia to take stage in Istanbul

Jakub Hrusa and Lise de la Salle wiil be on stage at İşsanat on April 12.

Considered one of the top orchestras of the world, the Prague Philharmonia is set to be on stage in Turkey at İşsanat with Jakub Hrusa and Lise de la Salle on April 12. 

Giving her first concert at the age of 9, which was broadcast live by Radio France, Lise de la Salle is pursuing an impressive international career and is performing at the major concert halls of Europe, the United Stated and Asia. 

Winner of the First Prize in both the 2004 Young Concert Artists International Auditions in New York and the 2003 European Young Concert Artists Auditions in Paris, she plays recitals and is regularly invited by major orchestras. 

Her new CD, dedicated to Liszt, was awarded with the Diapason d’Or, the ARTE CD of the month and the Grammophone Editors Choice. 

The album received amongst others an outstanding review (world class playing) from International record reviews. 

One of the top Czech orchestras, Prague Philharmonia was founded in 1994 by the world renowned conductor Jiri Bilohlávek and under his leadership quickly gained a formidable international reputation. In the concert, the orchestra will be led by Music Director and Chief Conductor Jakub Hrusa. Named by Gramophone magazine in 2011 as one of ten young conductors “on the verge of greatness.”
