US artist Kurt Wenner works on one of his 3-D artwork on March 4, 2015 near the Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) in Dubai during the Canvas Festival, a three-dimensional pavement art event. The six-day Dubai Canvas Festival features 11 international artists who used chalk or paint to create their 3-D artworks, many of them depicting images of the Emirati city, at a popular beachfront neighbourhood. A chalk drawing by Wenner shows a large traditional Emirati dhow with a boy on board and others in the sea around it holding baskets carrying pearls and shells. AFP PHOTO / MARWAN NAAMANI
