23 police removed at security department of Turkish Prime Ministry

ANKARA
Some 23 police officers serving at the Prime Ministry’s security department have been removed from their positions, daily Hürriyet reported today.

The bodyguards of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan are reportedly among those who have been replaced. 

Meanwhile, new appointments have been made at the Prime Ministry’s General Directorate of Personnel and Principles, as well as at other ministries, including the Justice Ministry, the Family and Social Policies Ministry, the Science, Industry and Technology Ministry, and the Economy Ministry. 

The new appointments to the positions were published in the Official Gazette today.
