Rodney King, whose police brutality case in 1991 led to deadly riots in Los Angeles, was found dead in a swimming pool on Sunday in Rialto, California, police told CNN. 
 
King, 47, whose beating at the hands of Los Angeles police was captured on video by a bystander, was discovered by his fiance, Rialto police Captain Randy Deanda told CNN.

I remember the riots like it was just yesterday, much as id love to call it a dark chapter in America's history its not history is it? Racism in the U.S is still alive and well, the cops who beat him half to death were acquited and the Zimmermans who grew up i that era are killing young Trayvons everyday.... truly the 'greatest country in the world'. what i wouldn't give to be white for a day!!!
