Local experimental band Replikas live in town Turkish experimental rock band Replikas is meeting with fans at Salon İKSV on April 21. The concert starts at 10:30 p.m. and tickets are available at the venue’s main booth.

The band released its debut album, Köledoyuran (Slavefeeder) in 2000 with which it immediately set its place in Turkish rock scene with a unique sound which combines western and eastern tunes. Replikas has also made film scores for Maruf (Known) and İki Genç Kız (Two Young Girls), directed by Serdar Akar and Kutluğ Ataman respectively. Replikas also participated for director Fatih Akın’s documentary about the Istanbul music scene titled “Crossing the Bridge: The Sound of Istanbul” in 2005. Replikas has released its fifth album Zerre (Bit) in December 2008.
